Summer Day at the Quarry

$725.00

I have always been a doodler and I am drawn to the tree motif because of my interest in genealogy and family trees. This tree consists of one continuous line that starts on one side of the trunk and ends on the other side. The continuous line represents the twists and turns of life and how you’re never quite sure what’s around the next corner. Life has its ups and downs, but taken as a whole, it’s a beautiful journey! The title refers to a swimming hole I used to frequent in Vermont… an abandoned quarry with clear, cold water surrounded by trees.

Acrylic paint on 24in x 36in wood panel with painted sides.
